Entertainment is being planned to mark a year since Preston’s new Market Hall opened.
Although opened in February last year to the public the formal ceremonial opening was in early March with the late council leader Peter Rankin cutting the ribbon.
Preston City Council is planning a day of live music, street entertainment and ‘birthday surprises’ for the market.
Traders are due to do special offers throughout the day and there will be live music from a ukulele group and brass band.
