A Preston woman is hosting a charity baby beat appeal night in tribute to her daughter who died.
Nic Roberts, from Penwortham, is organising the event to raise money in memory of her daughter who would have been 10 in March.
Funds raised on the evening will go to Baby Beat, an appeal aiming to maintain and raise standards in preventative care and fetal well being at the Sharoe Green Maternity Unit at Royal Preston Hospital.
The charity night will take place on Saturday 9 March at the BAC/EE Social and Sports Association.
The evening will include a raffle, silent auction, quiz, facepainting and games for the kids.
They also have a singer coming on the night too.

Nic Roberts, 28, said: “This event is in memory of my daughter who was stillborn and would have been 10 years old on 5th March.
“I am holding the event to celebrate my daughters birthday and pay back to such an incredible charity that have helped myself and family lies over the years.
“I held a similar event on a smaller scale in 2010 for my daughters first birthday and we raised just under £1700 for baby beat. My aim is to raise more than that this year.”
A local company called Happy Bunnies is also holding an event in aid of the fundraiser on Saturday 16 March called ‘Treats and Beats’.
They will be donating £5 of all the afternoon tea sales at the event to Baby Beat.
Nic continued: “We will also be planning a further two events in March in our aim to raise as much money as possible.”
