The top marks coincide with the launch of a new pizza menu, with a wide selection of house, classic and special pizzas.
These include Full English, Sardinian, the Hungry Vegan, the Northerner, Pepperoni and Bourguignon to name a few.
Manager of the Moorbrook, Richard Fisher-Godwin, said: “We are so pleased to announce that we have been re-awarded our five star status.
“We have had to put a lot of work into some building maintenance issues that were raised in our initial visit along with some more conscientious training of staff with food hygiene procedures but it has all been worth it today.
“Even better it has fallen in line with the release of our new menu which has some amazing additions to the great pizzas that we already offered.”
The pub is looking to adjust its service times on Friday and Saturday night as of next week and serve pizzas till midnight instead of the 9pm cut off.
They are also looking into delivery options through some well-known takeaway delivery services.
