Aerial pictures show what firefighters faced in Longridge Road during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent its drone up to help firefighters tackle the fire.
The fire started around 1am on Sunday (27 January) and was quickly contained by fire crews as more than 100 scrap cars burned.
Chris Rainford from the fire service’s drone support team said: “Spectacular pics from last night’s fire at the recycling plant in Longridge Road.
“Excellent job done by all ground crews to prevent further spread, great to capture these images despite wet and windy conditions.”
By 9am only one fire crews was left at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing by the fire service and Recycling Lives to establish the cause of the fire.
