Police are investigating after a house was shot at in Fulwood.
A porch window was smashed at a house in Garstang Road, close to the Broughton and Fulwood cricket club and just up from Highfield Drive.
Detectives believe a handgun was fired by a man towards the house around 11.45pm on Thursday (3 January).
No one was hurt in the incident and the bullet hole was discovered around 8.25am on Friday (4 January). Police have now arrested a 39-year-old man.

Detective Inspector Martin Pearson said: “We have launched an investigation following this incident and I would appeal to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious or who has information which could assist to get in touch.
“It is only by good fortune that no-one was seriously hurt or even killed in this incident and we will do all we can to find those responsible.
“I would reassure people that this incident was not directed at the general public is believed to be a targeted attack. Patrols have been increased in the area.”
