Police are continuing with their investigation into a Preston city centre assault following an appeal to trace witnesses.
The incident occurred on Thursday 20 December when a 29-year-old man was discovered unconscious outside the Dog Inn on Church Street with a head injury.
In an attempt to trace witnesses, the initial appeal helped to identify three people with whom police have now spoken to.

A 53-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of assault but was released under investigation pending further enquiries.
A subsequent appeal to trace a man in a silver jacket resulted in a second arrest of a 22-year-old man from Preston on suspicion of assault.
He has also been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The victim was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
