A pensioner remains in hospital after a crash in Leyland.
The 67-year-old man was struck when crossing Wigan Road (A49) close to the Shell garage.
Lancashire Police were called around 6.35pm on Friday 28 December.
The man had been hit by a BMW 318D.
Police say the pensioner was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with a head injury and remains in a serious but stable condition.
Sergeant Malcolm Bell said: “We need anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision to come forward.
“The pedestrian was crossing the road with a group of people as it happened and so hopefully people will remember seeing him with them.
