The Northern Young Adult Literary Festival is returning to UCLan after the success of last year’s inaugural event.
NYALitFest prides itself on getting bestselling authors, agents and publishers out of London and up north to Preston for a day of bookish fun.
Hazel Holmes, NYALitFest Publishing Executive, said: “Usually this sort of event is held in London so it really is a special opportunity for readers to meet their favourite authors and learn about the publishing industry.”

This year’s theme is mental health and inclusiveness. Panel events and signing sessions will take place throughout the day with authors including Preston’s own A.J. Hartley.

Publisher and gift stalls, face painting and a book exchange will also be on offer.
All events except the creative writing workshop are free to attend.
NYALitFest will take place on Saturday 16 March at UCLan’s Greenbank Building. More information, including how to book tickets, is available from the NYALitFest website.
