M6 crash at Junction 32 causes delays

A driver has been treated at the scene after a crash on the M6 at Preston.

The black car was parked up on one of the slip lanes at the M6/M55 junction for Broughton.

Lancashire Road Police were in attendance and said the driver had been reported for driving without due care.

They lost control and hit the central reservation, causing considerable damage to the front of the vehicle.

The crash, around 1.15pm on Saturday (12 January) saw tailbacks on the M6 approaching Junction 32.

The driver has minor injuries.

Police have reopened the slip road and traffic is moving freely without delays now.
