A new curry house is now open in Blackpool Road.

Tiger Belly has started trading in what was Health Kicks Kitchen at Lane Ends.

Owner Mo Kamal was previously chef at Tiger Tiger in Blackpool Road at Lea. The Indian takeaway was open for around a year from December 2016.

A statement from Mo on the Tiger Belly Facebook page said: “As I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for almost 20 years I hold a strong passion and knowledge which I’ve gained.

“Thankfully, now I am able to bring the flavours that I have personably developed over the years and can share with you.”

The Tiger Belly menu includes tandoori dishes, shashlik, peri-peri chicken, traditional curries and specials including a “very very hot” Naga, cooked with the world’s hottest chilli.

Set meals are available from £12 for one person up to £45 for four people.
