Cloudy, grey and chilly – It really is January!
The city can expect dull skies, a spot of rain and a cool breeze following a brief icy spell that gripped Preston.

Afternoon – It’s going to be a cool afternoon, highs of three degrees.
Evening – A partly cloudy and cool night, feeling like minus one degrees.
Thursday (10 January)
Morning – The sun rises at 8.25am but we won’t see much of it with the skies being very overcast.
Afternoon – It’s grey all day with highs of five degrees.
Evening – Remaining dry throughout the evening, but clouds will stay put up above.
Friday (11 January)
Morning – Grab your coats and umbrellas as it’s light rain from 6am.
Afternoon – Showers continuing throughout the day, but temperatures slightly warmer than previous with highs of eight degrees.
Evening – A damp evening and the rain puts into the night.
Saturday (12 January)
Morning – Light rain to start the weekend and grey all around.
Afternoon – Prepare for heavy rain this afternoon. The winds pick up to 18 miles per hour.
Evening – Showers come and go throughout the evening but it’s a breezy night, with wind speed staying at 18 miles per hour.
