A Broadgate resident has spoken out against the “ridiculous” parking at Penwortham Holme playing fields.
Chris Hough said: “When the football is on it is getting ridiculous.
“It was bad last week but people didn’t seem to park where the cones were.
“This week people actually moved all the cones that were there to prevent parking, just so they could park. Because one person did it, they all did it.
“The bus had to come wide round the corner to miss the cars and had to cross the double white lines
“I reported it to the police as it says on their website that they will deal with parking issues relating to double white lines, parking on bends, or parking that causes dangerous situations.

“People seem to have forgotten their highway code, the rules of the road, safety and just common sense and common decency.”
South Ribble Borough Council, who look after the pitches, were approached for comment but Blog Preston received no response.
