Twelve fire crews descended on Deepdale as they tackledĀ a major blaze across multiple industrial units on Frank Street.

The fire was reported to Lancashire Fire and Rescue shortly after 9pm on Friday (21 December).

Video from the scene shows the scale of the fire, leaping high into the air, as a dozen fire crews attempt to bring it under control. A number of roads remain closed, including St George’s, Frank Street, and Southgate.

Imtiaz Master shared footage with Blog Preston of the fierce flames roaring above multiple industrial units, seen below:

Lancashire Fire and Rescue confirmed in a tweet shortly after midnight that the fire has been contained and that they are scaling down the numbers of fire crews in attendance.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
