Love it or hate it, New Year’s Eve is arguably one of the biggest nights on the party calendar.

As 2018 draws close to an end, some of you may be wondering how to wish farewell to the year gone by.

You may want to raise a toast with the family or round up all your friends to welcome in the new year together.

Not sure where to spend it? Don’t fear. We have come up with a list of all the events taking place in and around Preston on New Years Eve:

Big cash prizes, awkward dance offs and rave intervals. What more could you want on New Years Eve?

Bongos Bingo is back once more at Preston Guild hall to welcome in the new year with fun.

Expect a special guest performance from Blazin’ Squad.

Final release tickets are priced at £15 and can be purchased online.

Green New Years Eve is to take place at Stratos food, drinks and music bar in the heart of the city.

Start the new year off with a bang where the Green team will offer funky uplifting beats and electric vibes to get you dancing.

Dj’s Matt Bell, Danny Newbold, Adam Simpson and Efenar will be playing.

For delicious cocktails with exclusive deals, Stratos could be for you this New Years Eve.

Tickets are priced at £10 and can be bought online.

Evoque

Evoque Nightclub is inviting you to spend Christmas with DJ Danny T live.

Promised to be the ‘craziest wildest party in town’ with DJ sets from naff Boothroyd, Damon Hess and Craig Crompton, get your dancing shoes on for New Years Eve.

Featuring baseline, house and R&B genres, get down to Evoque this year.

Minimum age is 18.

You can secure your tickets online from £3 or reserve a table.

Roper Hall, The Dark Room

Inside the renovated Roper Hall

Nibiru presents a New Years Eve special at Roper Hall on Monday 31 December.

Get the party started with this unique techno and house event.

Roper Hall will close the year with local residents George Haze, Daliso Ngoma and George Thompson.

Starting off 2019 will be Earl Raff, Danny Gerrard and Joe Francis.

From 10pm — 3am, early bird tickets start at £5 and you can purchase them online.
