Teenager stabbed in Deepdale street clash

A man has been stabbed during a row between groups of men in Deepdale last night.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old suffered slash wounds to his hand and ankle and another man suffered facial injuries in the brawl in Kent Street.

At 8:20pm last night (Monday, December 17th) four men in a black Ford Fiesta car were attacked by a larger group of men on Kent Street. It is thought that a total of between 10 to 12 people were involved.

The Fiesta was seized and officers are looking to trace the people involved.

DI Martin Pearson from Preston Police said: “We are still in the early stages of our investigation and so I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or knows who was involved to get in touch as they could have vital information to assist our investigation.”
