A taxi and a BMW have been involved in a crash in Fulwood.

Preston Police have closed access to Lytham Road from the junction with Watling Street Road/Garstang Road – close to the Shell garage.

Two police cars are parked up awaiting recovery vehicles.

A silver AAA taxi and a black BMW were involved in the crash around 7.30pm on Wednesday (19 December).

Preston Police confirmed to Blog Preston at the scene no one was seriously hurt in the crash.

North West Ambulance Service attended and treated minor injuries.

No arrests have been made.

Traffic going from Watling Street Road towards Lytham Road is being diverted but the road is expected to fully reopen by 8.30pm.
