Hundreds of people braved a blustery morning in Avenham Park for the annual Santa Dash.

The run, now in memory of Ben Ashworth and his battle with bowel cancer, sees lots of runners don ‘cheeky bum’ pants to show their support.

The two-lap 5km race is organised by Ben’s widow Louise and their daughters.

Now in its fifth year the race helps raise money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation where Ben received treatment.
