Olive Tree Brasserie Preston could be named best independent restaurant

A Preston restaurant has made the shortlist of a national awards.

Olive Tree Brasserie in Miller Arcade, Church Street, is up for the Casual Dining Restaurant and Pub Awards 2019.

They are a finalist in the Independent Restaurant of the Year category.

It comes after Olive Tree won an Eat Out Award for Best Menu Development last year.

Owner and director Dean Wilson said: “I’m really proud to have created a brand, menus and an atmosphere that people want to return to time and time again, alongside my team.

“Knowing the industry is looking on too and recognising this is a great feeling. It’s come at a great time as we look to build the brands continued success.”

The 33-year-old has expanded to have restaurants in Chester, Lytham and Stockton Heath.

The winners in the awards are announced at a ceremony in London in February 2019.
