Two people have been seriously injured in a crash which happened on the M6 at Broughton.
A man was cut from his car at the incident between Junction 32 and Lancaster services on Thursday 27 December (evening).
Emergency services attended the scene after two cars crashed around 10.30pm.

One man was trapped in one of the cars and was cut free by firefighters from Preston, Fulwood, Garstang and Lancaster.
A second man was already out of one of the cars when fire crews arrived.
North West Ambulance Service sent two ambulances to the incident.
Two patients both had major traumas.
One man, in his early 30’s, suffered a head an leg injury while the second patient has a stomach injury.
Both were taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Services said:
“We were called at 22:22 to the M6 junc 32 to 33 North West Ambulance Service.
“We sent 2 ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and advanced paramedic.”
