Fire in Deepdale at commercial units sees 90 firefighters tackle it

A huge fire has more than 90 firefighters working at the scene in Deepdale to control it.

The fire in the Southgate and St George’s Road has seen roads closed.

Lancashire Fire Service has a number of aerial appliances at the scene in Deepdale.

The fire is thought to affected a number of commercial units off North Road.

No one is thought to be hurt in the fire.

A mosque in St Paul’s Road and a number of nearby houses have been evacuated due to the fire.

The fire service said ‘there a number of commercial units involved’.
