There’s more than a sprinkling of Christmas magic in store at Hoghton Tower this year.
Festive teas and tours, meetings with Santa, and Christmas carols all feature in the Grade I listed building’s December schedule.
During the festive tea and tour, guests will be guided around the house, which has been decked out for Christmas.
There will be stories of the origins of Christmas traditions and the chance to take a glimpse into what life would have been like during the festive period in years gone by.
Following the one-hour tour, an afternoon tea with seasonal specialities will be served in the tearoom.
Tours will take place on Thursday 13 December at 11.30am and Thursday 20 December at 12pm. Tickets are priced at £25.
