Car crash damages restaurant in Longridge

A driver crashed in the early hours of Christmas Day in Longridge.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to assist following the crash in Higher Road.

Preston Police were called out to reports a car had struck the porch of the Thai Paragon restaurant.

Two fire crews, from Longridge and Preston, responded.

No one was hurt in the crash and firefighters cordoned off the site to ensure there was no spilled fuel or debris.

The crash took place shortly after midnight on Christmas Day (Tuesday 25 December) and the fire service were called around 2.30am.
