Watling Street Road collision sees traffic build up

A vehicle collision taking place on Watling Street Road today (Friday 30 November) has seen congestion build up.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the area in Fulwood following the incident which took place around 11am this morning.

It happened close to the junction at Sharoe Green Lane.

Police were reported to have attended the scene which resulted in damage.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “Unfortunately, this was a damage only collision so not one we would give details on sorry.”

The fire service did not attend the incident are there has been no report of injuries.
