Footage showing the scale of a new health centre planned for Fulwood has been released.

HBS Healthcare has proposals lodged with Preston City Council to demolish part of the former Little Sisters of the Poor building to create a new three-storey healthcare centre.

The video shows how the new health centre will look in relation to the site off Garstang Road.

Buildings known as Springfield House, which are not part of the main care home now called Springfield Manor Gardens, are earmarked for demolition.

GBS Group says the health centre would have 30,000 patients on its books, with five existing Preston and Fulwood doctors surgeries moving into it.

The health centre would also have extended evening and weekend opening times.
