Share your family’s Windrush story at a workshop in Preston

Budding writers are being offered a chance to tell their family’s Windrush story at a free two part writing workshop in Preston.

Marjorie Morgan will be running the sessions to help find your voice and delve into your family’s history.

Bring along any photos or family mementos to this two-part session and  Marjorie will guide you through finding your voice and starting your story.

The first session on Sunday 11 November starts by talking, sharing and building confidence to write your stories.

On Sunday 25 November there is another session to further develop your work.

The event is free but booking is required. Visit Eventbrite to book your place.

It will take place in the Harris Community History Library on the 1st floor. Please ask at the museum shop when you arrive for directions.
