Preston’s Instagrammers are to head for one of the city’s renovation projects for the latest meetup.
The InstaMeet, the third in the city, gives you the chance to go behind-the-scenes of buildings in the city.
In September we explored the Town Hall, before that the Harris in May and now The Union Lofts are opening their doors.
Converting a former yeast warehouse down Guildhall Street the development from EtcUrban already has one show flat on display.
We’ll be donning hard hats and hi-vis for a chance to see the rest of the building and see signs of its previous uses as a carriage workshop and snooker hall.
Meeting point is in Society 1, in Cross Street, beforehand, not a bad place to take a picture, and due to demand it’s likely to take place in two groups due to health and safety considerations within the Union Lofts building.

Preston InstaMeet is on Monday 10 December from 5.30pm, meet at Society 1 co-working space (on Cross Street, what used to be Duk/Pond restaurant). You need to register via Eventbrite to attend, it’s free and all you need is your phone (and/or camera)! We just need to know how many people are coming for safety reasons etc.
Any pictures taken at the event, be sure to hashtag them #igerspreston and of course follow @blog.preston on Insta too!
