New pictures of a convicted sex offender who has gone on the run have been released.
Preston Police are continuing to search for Norman Ormerod who was last seen in the city on 9 August.
The 45-year-old was convicted of making indecent images of children in 2011 and 2015.
Ormerod went missing from an address in Clitheroe in early August and failed to attend probation appointments.
PC Dean Briggs, of Lancashire Police, said: “Ormerod has been wanted for some time now and is in breach of his licence requirements.
“He is believed to have travelled to the Yorkshire area and could be camping.
“I would advise anyone with information not to approach him but to contact police immediately.”
Police say he has links to Lancashire, Cumbria, Scotland, Manchester, Wales, Derbyshire, Norfolk, Humberside and North Yorkshire.
Anyone with information is asked to police on 101, or you can contact PC Dean Briggs on 1314@lancashire.pnn.police.uk
