Penwortham came to a standstill for the annual Remembrance parade.
This year’s service marked 100 years since the guns fell silent to end the First World War.
Bands, standard bearers and military veterans were all part of the procession.
They made their way to the Cenotaph at Liverpool Road, Penwortham Hill, for a short service to pay respects to those who have given their lives in conflict.
