The property in Seymour Road, off Lytham Road, was targeted on Wednesday 31 October.

Police say a side door of a garage on the road was targeted and forced open around 1.20am.

Two bikes were taken, a Carrera Cross City folding electric bike and a Boardman Hybrid MTX mountain bike.

A spokesman for the police said: “We know residents have been concerned about the number of burglaries in Ashton recently and we want to reassure people we are doing everything we can to tackle the problem.”
