A Fulwood couple have released pictures of a man following a suspected theft from a car.

CCTV footage from their home in Hawkhurst Avenue, off Garstang Road, shows a man approaching their front door during the incident.

The woman who shared the footage with Blog Preston, and asked not to be named, said: “We had some valuables stolen from our car which was parked on our driveway.

“The footage shows a man trying to open our porch door.

“I feel it’s important to highlight this with Christmas around the corner – who knows what may have happened if he made it through the porch door.

“I have told a few neighbours about it so they can remain alert, particularly the elderly.”

The incident took place around 3.30am on Wednesday (28 November).

Preston Police have been made aware and anyone with information can call 101 and give reference LC-20181128-0818.
