A historic Preston golf club is rumoured to be closing down.
Fishwick Hall Golf Club, in Glenluce Drive, Faringdon Park, is the only course set within the original Preston boundaries.

Members were saddened to hear news the 106-year-old club had closed down this week.
American Golf Preston Tweeted: “Thanks for the memories. A fantastic club with amazing members. I’ve been a member on & off over the years and it’s one of the nicest clubs I’ve been a member of.
“Gonna miss you. I won’t however miss the 12th hole though!”
Leyland Golf Club said: “Following the sad news of the loss of one of our local golf clubs Fishwick Hall we would like to welcome any members who have found themselves without a club. Please speak to us to see what we can offer.”
The club also said it had been told by several members of Fishwick Hall that the club had closed down.
Blog Preston has tried to contact Fishwick Hall Golf Club for comment but has been unable to get a response.
