Two Fulwood sisters have launched a new upcycling business from their garden shed.
AdvertisementTina Messent and Angela Wilson run Pretty Shabby from their “sister shack”, where they upcycle furniture and create personalised gifts including home decor and glassware.
Tina said: “We bring old, once-loved furniture back to life. Each item is given lots of TLC, with many pieces being unique in design and restoration.
“We host Pretty Shabby parties in the comfort of our customers’ own homes, where we provide gifts, boutique clothing and small items of furniture to purchase on the night.
“Our aim is to offer a fantastic service and products at affordable prices. Our Facebook page is updated regularly with new products and events, and we’re hoping to build the business through social media.”
