Firefighters rescue two people trapped in lift at gym

Two people were rescued from a lift at a gym in Preston.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service had to come to the rescue of the pair in JG Gyms, Lowthian House, Market Street in Preston city centre.

The two people were uninjured during the incident which took place shortly after 4pm on Monday (26 November).

Two crews attended, one from Preston and one from Penwortham.
