Nearly 150 new homes could be built off Preston Road in Grimsargh.
Story Homes has submitted its final proposals for the farmland site.
Outline permission was granted in May 2016 and now the last stage of planning approval has been entered into.
A reserved planning matters application outlines how the development will include one, two, three, four and five-bedroom homes and a mix of apartments, terraced, semi-detached and family homes.

Story Homes say they are committed to ensuring 35 per cent of the properties are affordable homes.
A consultation was held in September 2018 with nearby residents in Grimsargh ahead of the plans being submitted.
The developers have committed to paying nearly £1.2million towards school places, travel infrastructure and more if the scheme goes ahead.
Planning manager Siobhan Sweeney said: “We are seeking reserved matters planning consent for a new development of 147 homes on land off Preston Road, Grimsargh. This follows outline planning being granted in May 2016 and a further public consultation in September 2018 with the local community.
“We are renowned for designing high quality homes throughout the North West and for our striking street scenes on our developments. In the design of our proposal we have paid careful attention to the local area’s use of material and this will be highly visible when travelling around the development.”
