Emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision in Fulwood.
Witnesses reported to Blog Preston at around 10.45am that several ambulances were at the scene of a collision on Garstang Road.
The incident reportedly took place heading northbound between the junctions for Watling Street Road and Cadley Drive.
One witness said: “Just seen (from a distance) what must be quite a big collision on A6 Garstang road opposite St Pius school northbound side.
“Several ambulances, looked serious. Road closed from Withy Trees northbound.”

The description on the AA Traffic website is as follows: “Reports of road closed and queuing traffic due to accident on A6 Garstang Road both ways from B6242 Watling Street Road to Regent Drive.
“Accident has occurred on Cadley Bridge. Road confirmed by 11:15am to now be closed. Awaiting confirmation on if the road is closed in both directions.”
Bus services will be diverted via Blackpool Rd, Watling Street Road and St Vincent Road.
