There’s set to be a few odd looks as bum cheeks are flashed in Avenham Park.
The Cheeky Santa Dash in memory of Ben Ashworth returns for a fifth year.
Runners take on the fun-run route in memory of Ben who died aged 37 after a five year battle with bowel cancer.
His Ben’s Bowel Movements campaign reached hundreds of thousands of people who were inspired by his running success – as he took on more than 20 marathons and long-distance runs.
Ben’s widow Louise is continuing to organise the cheeky Santa Dash which sees hundreds of people take on the route for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation, where Ben received treatment.
Louise said: “It was the girls who kept asking me when this year’s Cheeky Santa Dash was going to happen.
“They spurred me into contacting some of Ben’s running friends for help and sorting a date. I really hope people will join us.”
