A brand new beauty clinic is throwing open its doors in Fulwood, and it is unlike any other.
Bond Salons is the modern, glamerous beauty salon that has recently opened at 209a Garstang Road.
An official launch event will take place on Saturday 1 December to celebrate the opening.
Along with offering a wide selection of hair, makeup and beauty treatments, the salon is priding itself on being a ‘community’ place and has its very own bar for passer-bys to call in for a chat – and a drink.
The front area of the fully licensed salon offers luxurious seating and it is hoped that in the summer months this can spill out in front of the shop.

Customers who fancy a night out can make use of the ‘duffel bag’ offer every Thursday – Saturday night.
This enables groups of friends to get their hair and makeup done at the salon, then get changed in the facilities and seal their belongings in the duffel bag.
The bags would then be locked away and can be picked up the next day.
Owner, Louise Taylor, 51, said: “I am most looking forward to building a really nice local community salon.
“We have turned it around from a building site to a glamorous salon within a month.
“I have a fabulous team. We offer everything under hair, makeup and beauty.
“Some salons that you go to, you can feel quite intimidated when you walk in.
“I don’t want that here. We have a niche bar and a strong community vibe.”
The fully licensed bar offers a selection of drinks, from coffee to gin, vodka and more.
Six staff are employed currently and Louise is keen to build strong working relationships in which staff can become trained and strive to the best of their abilities.

The salon updated customers on social media stating that the Bond Salons is now fully licensed, and will be able to host pamper parties.
It is hoped that the salon will offer laser treatments, including tattoo removals, early next year.
