A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Whittle-le-Woods.
The 28-year-old man from Clayton Brook was taken to Royal Preston Hospital after the crash on Wednesday (21 November).
Chorley Police have confirmed the man, who was riding a Kawasaki, died in hospital on Saturday (24 November). He has since been named by friends.
The crash between the bike and a Mini Cooper took place around 7.55am at the junction of Preston Road and Cow Well Lane.
The biker received significant head injuries.
The Mini driver, a 21-year-old man from Chorley, was not injured.
Preston Road was closed for five hours following the crash.
Sergeant Tracey Ward said: “My thoughts first and foremost, are with the young man’s family at this incredibly sad time.
“We are continuing to appeal for witnesses and are working to establish exactly what happened.
