Three men have been arrested after an attempt to break into a mini-supermarket in Preston.
AdvertisementPreston Police sent officers to the Co-Op in Norbreck Drive, Larches, during the early hours of Saturday (10 November) morning following a call from a concerned member of the public.
Two men were discovered hiding in a flat above the shop, and had used a number of tools and weapons to gain entry to the store through the floor of the flat.
A third man was found hiding in the roof of the property.

A police spokesman said: “Quick action from Team 5 immediate response has prevented these males getting away with any property.”
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting LC-20181109-1641.
