Two Preston speeding hotspots have been targeted during a community road watch scheme.
Fulwood Hall Lane and Blackpool Road at Lea were monitored throughout Tuesday afternoon.
Between 1.30pm and 2.30pm in Blackpool Road in Lea a total of 434 vehicles went by with four going above the 30mph speed limit.
In Fulwood Hall Lane between 3pm and 4pm 134 vehicles went by with eight going more than the 20mph limit and one driver not wearing a seatbelt.

A spokesman for Preston Police said: “The Community Roadwatch team will now send out warning letters to these motorists. Community Roadwatch is an educational initiative carried out by volunteers.
“As part of the educational element of this scheme those drivers observed will be notified of the matters witnessed and reminded of their driving responsibilities.”
