Heavy rainfall throughout Friday (12 October) night and Saturday (13 October) morning has seen lots of surface water flooding in and around Preston.
Black Bull Lane in Fulwood, currently closed to traffic for a fortnight of roadworks, has water covering the whole of a bend near Fulwood Leisure Centre.
Cars are still being let through to access Fulwood Leisure Centre via a checkpoint at the Conway Drive junction but having to go extremely slowly through the standing water.
Work in Black Bull Lane has continued at the top end near the junction with Garstang Road with planing work ongoing. The road closure lasts until Friday 26 October.
Storm Callum currently has the city in his grip and the wet weather is expected to continue throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Part of the car park at Asda in Fulwood has also been closed off due to flooding.
The Environment Agency has flood alerts in force for the Lower River Ribble and River Darwen at Preston and Penwortham as river levels swell.

A flood alert is also in place on the Rivers Lostock and Yarrow affecting Bamber Bridge and the upper River Ribble in the Ribble Valley also has a flood alert in place.
