A rock and roll night aimed at finding the UK’s next big band is coming to the city.
This Feeling is a UK-wide club tour that aims to introduce music-fans to new bands they may not know, with Mint headlining.
Preston alt-rockers Building Giants are the main support act with indie rockers Clean Break and Record Street in support.
A regular on BBC Music Introducing the Giants have also filmed their latest music video Talk of the Town in Avenham and Miller Park.
Lead singer Joe Flynn said: “This Feeling have been on our radar for a while, so to be asked to play our hometown of Preston and showcase our music alongside some other incredible local artists is a huge honour.
“It’s also fantastic that the UK’s biggest rock n’ roll club has chosen to put on this night in Preston. There’s a huge amount of amazing talent in our City and it’s important to preserve and protect our independent music scene and keep live music accessible and affordable for Lancashire residents.”
The This Feeling club night takes over The Dark Room at Roper Hall on Thursday 25 October and is followed by an indie club night.
