Search underway for missing Preston pensioner

Police are looking for a pensioner who has gone missing from Ingol.


Update: Police say Frank Olsson has been found safe and well in Blackpool during Thursday morning, the public are thanked for their assistance

Frank Olsson was last seen around 10am in Ashbourne Crescent off Tag Lane on Wednesday (3 October).

The 88-year-old is described as white, 5’4″, medium build with thinning grey hair.

Frank wears glasses and was wearing a blue winter coat, brown flat cap, brown trousers and brown shoes when last seen.

He has links to the city and to Blackpool.

Sergeant Stuart Wright said: “Frank has been missing for several hours now and we are very concerned following his disappearance.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Frank, or a man matching his description, to call police immediately.”
