Major resurfacing work has shut part of Black Bull Lane.

Motorists will follow diversions for two weeks while Lancashire County Council improve the pothole-ridden stretch of the Fulwood road.

Roadworks are taking place from Conway Drive to Garstang Road.

The works will last up until Friday 26 October, unless they are finished earlier.

Pedestrians will still be able to access the road however access to Fulwood Leisure Centre, Queens Drive Primary School and Fulwood Academy will be restricted.

There will be access arrangements for residents.

Motorists will instead have to follow a diversion route via Plungington Road, Lytham Road and then the A6 Garstang Road.

Buses will be diverted and Preston Bus has confirmed the temporary routes for the 23 and 88 services.
