Under the cover of Preston’s covered market the city’s Sikh community is preparing to feed the city’s homeless.
Following on from their once-a-month soup kitchen the Langar Week sees the worldwide movement feed the city.
Badged as ‘Hello Langar, Goodbye Hunger’ it’s a chance for those who are homeless or on low-incomes to get a free meal.
Anyone is welcome to come along and experience a ‘500-year-old communal kitchen service’.
