Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after an allegation of a sexual assault in Fulwood.
A 13-year-old girl was walking in Black Bull Lane on Wednesday (3 October) around 5.30pm.
She said she was approached by a man, who had been following her, close to the One Stop store at the junction with Boys Lane and Kings Drive.
The man sexually assaulted the girl, with the teenager shouting for a member of the public to help. The man then ran off from the scene.
Police say the man is described as wearing black clothing, with blue trainers and a dark coloured baseball cap.

Sergeant Scott Archer of Preston Police said: “An investigation is underway after a girl was sexually assaulted in Fulwood.
“We are keen to trace this man – do you know who he is?
“If you can help, please contact us immediately.”
Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting log 1033 of October 3.
