A new pub has opened in Friargate with a swanky new interior and exterior.
The Northern Way has seen a wholesale revamp on the site of Shenanigans and O’Neill’s.
Opening night on Saturday saw the place busy with a good cask range on as well as an extensive gin menu.
Blog Preston correspondent Louise Gooch was there to see how it rated, and she seemed to be raising a glass to it.

The pub has a black interior with a Solita-type feel to its decorations and artwork.
In terms of beer, A Beer in Preston Twitter account seemed to give it the nod.

The pub has a large compass mural on the front and has also been attracting for the Brexit-themed artwork on the side of the pub facing into Edward Street and Friargate.
