The Northern Way has seen a wholesale revamp on the site of Shenanigans and O’Neill’s.

Opening night on Saturday saw the place busy with a good cask range on as well as an extensive gin menu.

Blog Preston correspondent Louise Gooch was there to see how it rated, and she seemed to be raising a glass to it.

The pub has a black interior with a Solita-type feel to its decorations and artwork.

In terms of beer, A Beer in Preston Twitter account seemed to give it the nod.
