Free family-friendly Pumpkin Fest coming to Preston

A free pumpkin carving competition is coming to Preston.

There will be 200 pumpkins available to pick and carve at Pumpkin Fest, hosted by the Intact Centre in Ingol.

Sponsored by Gateway, the family-friendly event will also include a tractor display, craft activities, a climbing wall, face painting, willow weaving and a fancy dress competition.

As well as events like this the Intact Centre provides support and advice to local people, and is a venue for community meetings, and learning and recreational activities.

Pumpkin Fest will take place on Friday 26 October between 1pm and 3pm at the Intact Centre on Whitby Avenue.
