Emergency services at scene and road closed in Chorley after crash

Police have closed a stretch of road in Chorley this evening

A road in Chorley has been closed this evening (October 30) after a road traffic collision.

Officers from Lancashire Constabulary are currently at the scene of the crash after the incident which was first reported at 10.40pm.

Stansted Road is currently closed at the bottom of Collingwood Road due to the collision.

The image appears to indicate that a white BMW was involved in the incident.

Chorley Police tweeted: “The road is currently closed due to a road traffic collision at the bottom of Collingwood Road (Stansted Road end).
