Some of the world’s best darts players are preparing to return to Preston Guild Hall.
Preston Guild Hall Classic includes a face-off between the legendary Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor and his old rival Raymond Van Berneveld.
Last year’s event was a sell-out and the team are bringing the darts back to the city centre venue.
Taylor, who has 16 world championships to his name, retired following January’s world championship final. It will be one of his final competitive performances.
Dutchman Van Berneveld has won five World Championship titles, including defeating Taylor in one of the classic matches of darts in the 2007 final.
Van Berneveld said: “It will be really great to play Phil again and reignite this respectful rivalry.
“Phil did so much for our sport and we all owe and respect him a lot. I’m sure we will give the fans a night to remember.”
